Hard Floor

Hard Flor 2, which is smaller than Hard Floor 1, is reserved to the athletes of ADFA, GCF and Ori Estarreja Orienteering Clubs.
All the other athletes and clubs will be in Hard Floor 1.

The file is relatively big (even the lower resolution file) so is suggested to click with the mouse right bottom choosing the option "save link as" for download to your computer.

Classes equivalences for Portuguese League (FPO) and Spanish League (FEDO)

Information concerning the equivalence of classes between Portuguese League (FPO) and Spanish League (FEDO) was published in how to enter section.

Technical Information

The courses information is now available in courses section. New pictures representative of the terrain were also added in the Map and Terrain section.

Localizations in distance and time

In Localizations was added a set of strategic information concerning distances and travel time needed between each stage. 

Visit of Ori Live to the terrain

Following the previous analysis of the courses, Ori Live in the person of its mentors Franclim e Nuno Leite, visited the location for the radio controls in the courses of Middle, Sprint and Long distances.

  

Special Map Features

Special symbol was used to indicate unpaved road / path with a maximum of 3 meters wide and very sandy, where the athlete does not take any advantage progression to opt for it.

Courses approval

After carefully analysis and discussion between the course planner and the national Supervisor Rui Morais, the final courses are finalised and approved.
Next step is the preparation of the files for printing testes of the competition maps, work to be done by José Jordão.

Supervisor terrain visit

National Supervisor Rui Morais spends the weekend in Pedrógão, visiting all the controls, confirming their localization and getting acquaintance with the terrain, in order to better give his opinion about the controls and courses.

Visit to the competition locations

Visit to the competition location for: drawing of the Arena, signalization plan and key point’s localization of the 3 stages (TPL and IBERICO), 2 of which also include the XII MOC.

Points verification

24, 25 e 31 July
During these 3 days was verified the controls location in the terrain, together with the traditional marks for the competition days.
